OraclePvP: the Skyblock server explained
OraclePvP is a Minecraft Skyblock server built around both PvE and PvP. You start on your own island, build farms and grinders, and work outward into a set of custom locations that each have their own currency, their own crate key and their own progression ladder.
The short version: join at oraclepvp.net on Java or Bedrock, click the NPC called Rinn on your island, and follow the storyline. Everything below is what that opens up.
What makes it different from vanilla Skyblock
Classic Skyblock is one island and a lava bucket. OraclePvP keeps the island as your base but puts a full progression game around it:
- Seven custom locations to gather in, including Weeping Woodlands, the Mineshafts, Pirates Bay and Dragon Valley, each with its own skill and signature drop.
- Six dungeons, scaling from $6 and 4 mobcoins a kill at dungeon 1 up to $24 and 30 mobcoins at dungeon 6.
- Boss fights, including a solo Mega Boss and the Underworld, a world of 15 hellish biomes where one boss awakens every hour.
- Five skills, each running all the way to level 500.
- A weekly leaderboard with real store credit for the top three islands, on separate Solo and Squad boards.
The island is the engine
Your island tracks two separate numbers, and mixing them up is the single most common new player mistake. Weekly Growth is the value you add this week and it is the only thing the leaderboard measures. Total Value is your permanent all time worth and it is what unlocks island growth stages.
You deposit value blocks through /island value. That raises weekly growth, and at
the weekly reset on Sunday it rolls into total value and resets to zero. There are 24 growth
stages, each named after a tree, running from Sprout at 5 billion total value up to World Tree at
25 trillion.
Solo or with a team
Islands support up to 10 players once you have maxed the Member upgrade. If you would rather not
grind alone, /island find is a recruitment hub where islands advertise for members and
you can apply. The leaderboard runs Solo and Squad boards separately, so a one player island is
never competing against a team of ten.
Is it pay to win
There is a store, and it sells ranks, gems, crates and cosmetics. What matters is that the
progression systems above are all reachable by playing: skills, prestige, island growth, dungeons,
armour sets and artifacts are earned. Gems also come from /daily, voting and trading,
